SQ36 and PR36 BBQ Smoker Capacity Chart

This chart shows approximate cooking capacities of our SQ36 BBQ Smoker and PR36 BBQ Smoker.

Meat Single Grate 2nd Tier Grate
Pork Butts 5–6 10
Whole Briskets 2 4
Chicken Halves 10–12 15–20
Whole Pig 30–40 lb. na
Racks of Spare Ribs** 2–3 4–5

**Unless you know this cooker very well, we don't recommend smoking ribs on a PR36 Smoker because ribs have little meat on them and the cooker is small and the fire is beneath the grate. If you restrict the air flow to control the fire, the fire will smolder. That will cause a problem and create a very dense smoke. However, you could grill the ribs.
