Move to Iowa

Yoder's Smoky Mountain Barbecue in Kalona, Iowa

I just want to let you know that Yoder’s Smoky Mountain Barbecue has moved! Marlin has moved our dealership from Tennessee to Kalona, IA. He’s about 7 miles out of Iowa City and surrounded by Des Moines, Davenport, and Cedar Rapids.

Marlin wants to beef up his Meadow Creek inventory and keep an even nicer selection in stock than we had in TN. If you’re thinking of swinging by, you might want to call or email before you drive a long distance since he’s still trying to get settled since the move.

Yoder's Smoky Mountain Barbecue Office

Here’s the new address:

Yoder’s Smoky Mountain Barbecue
2340 Highway 1 SW
Kalona, IA 52247

We’re excited about growing our business this year and bringing Meadow Creek equipment to our local area and new places all across the country.

I (Lavern Gingerich) have also moved my family, and we’re now in Bedford, Pennsylvania. My role as marketing agent will stay the same and I continue to publish StoryQue magazine from my new office in PA.

Have fun,

Lavern Gingerich

Congratulations on the move! I’m an Iowa boy born and bred (raised in Urbandale, graduated from Iowa State), and while this means I might have to drive a bit further than Tennessee now to pick up a new smoker (I live in Virginia these days), going back to my roots is never a bad thing. Enjoy your settling-in, and the hospitality of my home state! Kalona is a great area as are the Amanas nearby. God bless you, your family, and your new adventure!

What did you think of the videos? Meadow Creek makes some amazing smokers, pig roasters, chicken cookers, and grills. All this equipment is made in the Amish Community of Lancaster County, PA. The talented craftsmen at Meadow Creek hand-make each unit. They seriously go the extra mile to make sure you’re smoked pink. What really puts the sauce on the brisket is all the revolutionary features and options that make barbecue fun and easy, and even a money-machine, if BBQ is your business.
Integrity: Meadow Creek cookers are made in a culture of Godly ethics—honesty, diligence, and fairness. Whether it’s a Shoo-fly pie or a barbecue smoker, you will be treated right.
Stainless Steel Grates: Every Meadow Creek barbecue cooker comes standard with non-rusting stainless steel grates. This eliminates the hassle of scrubbing rust and the danger of possible rust contamination on your meat.
