We traveled to Meadow Creek Welding again for our annual trip to their Dealer Day and Open House. It is always a fun time of reconnecting with the folks at Meadow Creek and being around lots of barbecue, as well as learning how to serve you better. Here are a bunch of photos we took when we were in Amish country (don’t miss the horses and the ice cream machine).

I added a new photo album on my site with more than 30 photos of our Meadow Creek PR60 Pig Roaster. The cooker in the album has an optional charcoal pull-out and doors in the lid.

And please don’t be confused. This thing does a perfect job of cooking many kinds of meats. Check this chart for a list of meats we recommend for our pig cookers:

Smoked Briskets and Pork Butts

Monday, May 25th, 2009

What a day! We finally got some time to do some serious smoking again. We fired up our Meadow Creek TS60 BBQ Smoker and smoked some beef briskets, pork butts, a whole hen, and chicken breasts. We ate the hen at noon and had pulled pork and brisket for dinner this evening. Amazingly delicious!

Click on a photo to enlarge it. The slideshow should begin automatically.

Wondering how we smoked the brisket? Check out my guide on how to smoke a brisket, including a free brisket rub recipe.

Hope you enjoy the photos. Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Happy queing,

New BBQ Smoker: TS120P Tank Smoker From Meadow Creek

Monday, May 4th, 2009
Front of TS120P BBQ Smoker

Front of TS120P BBQ Smoker

There’s a bit of excitement stirring as we announce Meadow Creek’s new TS120P BBQ Smoker. This new cooker is the push/pull-around version of the TS120 Tank Smoker on a trailer.

If you’re looking for a BBQ smoker with 11+ square feet of cooking area, but you’d rather not have the trailer, this handsome, offset barbecue cooker is the solution for you.

Customers who wish to store their barbecue smoker on the patio or keep the smoker mostly in one area, moving it in and out of storage between uses will appreciate the practicality of its 18″ air tires and locking, swivel casters on the end opposite the firebox.

Like our other tank smokers, the TS120P BBQ Smoker offers serious outdoor cooks an experience that many only dream of—careful and talented workmanship, food-grade stainless steel grates that are easy to clean and maintain, reverse flow draft with rounded tank ends for uniform temperatures, and a removable fire box grate and ash pan which allows ashes to fall down and the fire to keep burning efficiently.

Truly, the team of talented craftsmen at Meadow Creek Welding is working hard to bring you top quality and a class that is hard to beat.

Credit Cards We Accept

Or if you're close by, come visit our display lot in Pikeville, Tennessee to check out these fine barbeques! We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all our Meadow Creek barbeque equipment (except the Ultimate Caterers—sorry, too much risk). Please realize that we (Yoder’s Smoky Mountain Barbecue) are a dealer for Meadow Creek. This promise applies only if you buy from us. If for any reason you are not happy with your unit, you may return the cooker to us within 30 days of the delivery or pickup date, and we will refund the purchase price minus the shipping and handling. You are responsible to pay the return shipping.
What did you think of the videos? Meadow Creek makes some amazing smokers, pig roasters, chicken cookers, and grills. All this equipment is made in the Amish Community of Lancaster County, PA. The talented craftsmen at Meadow Creek hand-make each unit. They seriously go the extra mile to make sure you’re smoked pink. What really puts the sauce on the brisket is all the revolutionary features and options that make barbecue fun and easy, and even a money-machine, if BBQ is your business.
Integrity: Meadow Creek cookers are made in a culture of Godly ethics—honesty, diligence, and fairness. Whether it’s a Shoo-fly pie or a barbecue smoker, you will be treated right.
Stainless Steel Grates: Every Meadow Creek barbecue cooker comes standard with non-rusting stainless steel grates. This eliminates the hassle of scrubbing rust and the danger of possible rust contamination on your meat.
